Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all of you! I wanted to get this on last night but my computer was being crazy. We had a pretty low key day. We got up at the crack of dawn to see what the Easter Bunn left. Then it was off to church. Brunch was a possibility, but Mia fell alseep hard on the way home. So, we made our way home and put the pizzas in the oven and just relaxed at home all day. It was a nice stress free Easter. Of course the girls got all dressed up in their Easter dresses, but mom and dad looked like they do every other day of the week.. We home you all had a wonderful Easter and hopefully now the snow will disappear!!!!

North Carolina Vacation

My dream came true!!! I got to feed the giraffes. We went to a really neat ranch called Lazy 5. They had a bunch of different animals, including zebras, giraffes, a rhino, Texas Long-horns, reindeer and a bunch of other animals. We rode in the back end of the truck and drove around and fed the animals. The girls enjoyed it immensely.

We went to the mountains one day. The older two really enjoyed it. Here they are sitting up a mile high. We went across the mile high swing bridge at Grandfather Mountain. It was a good time.

We also went to the caverns. We went down and saw the limestone hanging in the caves. It was pretty interesting and Megan actually learned something down there and repeated it. They seemed to have a good time.

The vacation was great and it was wonderful to spend some time with our great friends down there. But, as a mom and a girl, I was ready to come home and get things back to normal.

As you can see, we had a lot of long days and Madi just did not want to get up and be a part of the group at the end of one of them. She is sleeping on an oversized footstool. What a silly little girl!!!!

Nemo Here We Come!!!!

After our fun time at Chuck E. Cheese, it was off to Nemo on Ice. We got there a bit early and the doors were not open yet, so the girls and I just chilled in the hallway. Here they are waiting for the doors to open.

Finally the doors opened, and then it was the waiting game again. They were getting a little impatient, but were happy all the while.

The show did start eventually and here is Nemo striking a pose right in front of us. It was a wonderful show and we can't wait for the next one!!!

Daddy's Girls!!

Here are the girls sitting with Daddy having a snack after bathes the other night. Don't they look cozy!!!

Chuck E Cheese's

Megan, Madi and I went and had a fun day on Saturday. We worked our way down to the cities. Once in Maple Grove, we stopped at Chuck E. Cheese's for lunch. The girls had a great time. Madi wants me to bring Chuck E. Cheese home for lunch all the time!!!

Let's see how this goes

Okay, so I am not sure how well I will do at updating this, but I am going to try my hardest to keep it done. Since it is hard to keep everybody updated as to what the girls are up to, I am going to try and keep this updated at least weekly and then all will know.

Megan is going to be 5 in April (yikes!). I am very sad that my first born is going to start kindergarten in the fall, but they won't stay little for me as much as I as them. Right now she is going to School Readiness two afternoons a week, swim lessons on afternoon and week and dance class on evening a week. She definately keeps me running and we haven't even started regular school yet. She is very much enjoying all three activities. She is really into playing games on the computer lately and being the "mother" to her other two sisters. I have to remind her on a daily basis that she is not in charge. She is into math and likes figuring out what things add up to. I think we have another number girl, like her mommy, on our hands.

Madi is such an energetic little girl. She is going to Preschool two mornings a week and swim lessons one afternoon a week. Between the two of them, it is a full time job just driving to activities. Madi loves collecting things that are similar. She takes things away from her baby sister all the time and doesn't see the problem with that. She is at the tough age of 3 1/2. Terrible twos??? I think not, they should be renamed terrible three's for sure. All around she is a loving little girl, she just wants things her way or no way and will let you know if it is "wrong". She is learing to write her name and is doing pretty well. We just have to work on adding the 'a'. So, lately her name on paper has been 'Mdi'. Better than nothing!!!

Mia is one of the most excited 1 1/2 year olds I have ever met, but she does have two older sisters to try and keep up with. She does not like to use real words, but will "talk" your ear off. Someone should really start a translating business for babies. Her newest thing is wanting to try and get dressed. She does not do very well, but really doesn't get too angry about it unless she is tired. She is definately my girly girl. She is a neat freak already and loves babies. The other two were never really into the playing house thing with dolls, but Mia could carry a baby around all day. She is also a shoe fanatic. Boy am I in trouble!! We can't walk into a store and past the shoes without her pointing and wanting to get a new pair.

As for Adam and I, we are busy running the kids back and forth to all their activities. The business is going well and keeps both of us busy. I try to get to the office at least one day a week. Not for a full day because the girls' activities do not allow it. Tuesday's and Thursday's we are home all day. Adam will start coaching football in the fall again. He really enjoys being out there on the field again. He keeps talking about wanting to play again, but I don't think he will find the time to do that. We just got back from a family get-away to Arrowwood in Alexandria. The girls had a blast at the water park and we will definately be heading back that way! Well, that is all for now. As soon as I figure out how I will get some pics on here. Don't expect miracles overnight though!!!
